Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderama have aren't getting married.
At least not at the moment.
"We're not engaged," Valderrama told me last night at unite4:good's unite4humanity gala at the Beverly Hilton hotel. "But you know it's something that I definitely look forward to in the future. We'll see."
Oh?
"You know, who knows?" he teased.
There were even engagement rumors about a year ago when Lovato posted a Twitpic of herself that showed a ring on her wedding finger.
Her rep shot down speculation that Valderrama popped the question.
A day later, Lovato celebrated Valderrama's birthday by posting a collage of the lovebirds on Instagram.
"To the funniest, most inspiring, incredible man I know," the pop star wrote. "@WValderrama - thank you for helping me get through my darkest moments.. You truly are a light to this world and to my life.. Happy Birthday!!!"
He responded, "Who needs presents when the gift of you is real to us all.. Thank you for the blessing of knowing you."
And it was at about the same time that Lovato posted another pic of her snuggling with Valderrama and her puppy Buddy. "My boys are really sleepy," she captioned the pic. "And I'm the luckiest woman in the world......"
As for his grizzly face, Valderrama said it's for work. He'll return to Austin soon to shoot the next season of From Dusk Till Dawn. "I'm not this lazy," he said, pointing at the beard. "My mom would look at this and say, 'What are you doing, mi hijo?'"
