We are one week away from experiencing the highly anticipated erotica that is Fifty Shades of Grey on the big screen—but a number of lucky fans beat us to the punch!

A special screening for fans of the E.L. James adaptation was held at the Ziegfeld theater earlier today in New York City, and some familiar faces were also present for the event.

E! News caught up with stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, along with director Sam Taylor-Johnson and the author of the trilogy to spill the deets on what we can expect once we see Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele go at it in theaters.

"I think it's sexy. I think it's erotic, but we stayed true to the love story above all, which is so important," Dornan tells us. "Of course it's erotic, but you don't get a series of three books like that—a story that's spanned over three books—purely out of erotica."

He continued, "It's gotta have a truth to it, a love to it. I think it does. I think we've captured that." The hunky Hollywood star added, "It's a hot movie, at it's core there's a lot of sex. I'm not gonna stand here and say that I think I'm really hot in it or anything because that's not for me to say. But yeah, it's definitely sexy."

Well, we're sure the millions of hot and bothered admirers will answer that for you.

Speaking of sex, Johnson revealed which naughty scene was the hardest to shoot. "One of the sex scenes is when all of Ana's limbs are tied up, so all of my limbs were tied up. In situations like that, your senses sort of get taken away and you don't have all of your defense mechanisms, in a way," she explains.

"So it was difficult and just so exhausting because it's not like it just happens once. Obviously, when you're filming you do it over and over again, so that day was a little rough, but it turns out looking really, really extraordinary."

And just in case you're doubting whether or not the movie will give you the same feels as the book, Taylor-Johnson reassures us, "Damn right, it will!"
