Justin Bieber really is trying to be a better person, and it's already had quite a profound effect on one young woman's life!

Kilee Brookbank, 16, suffered second and third degree burns to over half her body during a freak explosion at her Ohio home in November. She was invited to talk about her brave and miraculous recovery on Thursday's episode of The Doctors, and much to her surprise, the Biebs surprised her in the studio with flowers and a kiss on the cheek!

"You inspire us so much," the 20-year-old singer told Kilee. "I think you inspire everybody in this audience, everybody across the world—you inspire me. I wanted to come here—I couldn't just do a video. I wanted to be here!"

Apparently, it was Justin's idea to surprise Kilee in real life, too! A source tells E! News his team was approached by The Doctors' producers about doing a video segment. Justin said, "...wait, doesn't the show tape in L.A.? I'll be in L.A.! Wouldn't it be cool for me to come by?"

When Justin arrived, he was very gracious to everyone and genuinely excited to be there. After the show, he invited Kilee, her mom Lori and step-dad Wade into his dressing room, too, where they chatted for over and hour, and later that night, he invited the family to join him in the studio!

"Justin was so kind and sweet to all of us," Kilee told E! News exclusively. "The chance to meet Justin Bieber is something I never thought I would get, and I'm very grateful that this was able to happen with the help of The Doctors and the tweets that my friends started."

He won over the parents, too! "The kindness that Justin Bieber showed Kilee, as well as us, was sincere and we greatly appreciate it," Wade and Lori told E! News in a statement. "Our hope is to show that the transition from burn victim to burn survivor is accomplished through not only excellent medical care, but positive attitude as well. Kilee has shown that she has an 'I can do this' attitude, and she has earned the huge smile on her face through the courage she has shown. She hopes her story can help others."
