Christian Grey drinks a lot of white wine, but don't let that confuse you—this billionaire bad boy is not the romantic type!

Jamie Dornan (as Christian) even warns Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) of this—verbatim!—in a Fifty Shades of Grey sneak peek, which premiered exclusively on Wednesday's Today.

"Why am I here?" Ana asks Christian (who delights innner goddesses everywhere by being shirtless in this clip).

"You're here," he replies dramatically, "because I'm incapable of leaving you alone."

"Then don't," suggests Ana, shyly yet seductively.

Today

Cue the exaggerated sigh!

"Why'd you send me those books?" Ana asks.

"I thought I owed you an apology," he offers.

"For what?"

"For letting you believe that I—listen to me, I don't do romance," says Christian empathically. "My tastes are very...singular. You wouldn't understand."

Ana's almost too perfect response? "Enlighten me then."

Oh my!

This infatuation isn't one-sided, of course. In another Fifty Shades of Grey clip that premiered on Tuesday's Today, it's Christian who's clamoring to know more about Miss Steele. It begins with Ana attempting to interview him, but the Grey Enterprises mogul quickly dominates the conversation, turning the line of questioning around.

"I would like to know more about you," he says.

He refuses to take, "There's really not much to know about me," as an answer, either, and proceeds to drill Ana about her literary preferences. Intrigued, clearly, but still confounded, he makes the submissive brunette an offer she can't refuse, an internship offer at his prestigious company.

"I don't think I'd fit in here," she says, laughing bashfully. "Look at me."

His response? "I am."

Fifty Shades of Grey hits theaters Feb. 13—just in time for Valentine's Day!
