Picking a gown for the red carpet is much like choosing one for your wedding day. You want to look elegant, effortless, photo-ready and, most importantly, (to me at least) feel super comfortable. While watching the red carpet of the SAG Awards Sunday night, I eyed elements from four stand-out dresses that would be perfect additions for my wedding day attire!
First off, I love the simplicity in the shape of Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting's dress. The straight neckline and figure-hugging silhouette would be perfect for a relaxed, non-fussy wedding gown.
Then there was that gorgeous pale pink dress that Felicity Jones wore. I love the idea of being a little untraditional and letting a pop of color speak for your personality on your big day. It is lovely on pale skin and sophisticated enough for such a big event in our lives.
Naomi Watts neckline was so gorgeous. An off-the-shoulder, straight neckline is so flattering and reminds me of that effortless Calvin Klein feel that I hope to emulate.
Lastly, that insane back of Reese Witherspoon's dress! It was sexy and edgy while also maintaining her classically feminine style. One's back is an easy way to get away with baring skin. It is one of women's most beautiful features.
What a dream it would be to wrap all these gorgeous elements into one gown.
