If the sexy trailers weren't enough, this new, sensual track from The Weeknd may put you in the mood as you count down the days to the release of Fifty Shades of Grey.

The movie is based on the first of British author E. L. James' hit erotic romance book series about the sexual awakening of a college student, Anastasia Steele, and her introduction into the world of S&M, courtesy of sexy billionaire Christian Grey. The film stars The Social Network's Dakota Johnson, daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, and former Once Upon a Time star Jamie Dornan and is set for release on Feb. 13, 2015—a day before Valentine's Day.

The Weeknd, aka singer Abel Tesfaye, released his offering for the movie's soundtrack, "Earned It," earlier this week. The song is a haunting alternative R&B ballad that, ironically, isn't explicit like several past hits by the Canadian star.

Sample lyrics include: So I love when you call unexpected/ 'Cause I hate when the moment's expected/ So I'ma care for you, you, you/ I'ma care for you, you, you, you, yeah/ ' Cause girl you're perfect/ You're always worth it/ And you deserve it/ The way you work it/ 'Cause girl you earned it/ Girl you earned it."

A lyric video for the song was posted on YouTube and was met with mostly positive reactions.

"This song is on point," one commentator said. "I am not a Fifty Shades fan but I knew when I heard what it was about, The Weeknd had to get a track on this movie and this song is awesome. No artist is better than The Weeknd when capturing love, pain, sexual nature, sensuality, raw emotions, and more. This one will be on repeat for a while."

"Let's not get carried away," another person replied.

...and there were some particularly enthusiastic responses as well.

"When [The Weeknd] releases a new song it feels better than having sex tbh," one person said.

"Oh lord, I'm pregnant," another wrote.

British pop star Rita Ora, known for her "Black Widow" hit with Iggy Azalea, also contributed a song to the movie's soundtrack, Billboard reported. Ora plays Christian's adoptive sister Mia in the film.

Beyoncé's track "Haunted," from her 2013 self-titled record, and a new version of her 2003 hit "Crazy in Love" are featured in a teaser and in one of the trailers for Fifty Shades of Grey.
