Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger have been heating up for some time now, so it's only natural that the families start weighing in on the relationship!

While vacationing in Miami to check out Art Basel, Miley and Patrick met up with the University of California student's uncle Anthony Shriver. Shriver is the founder and chairman of Best Buddies, an international nonprofit that facilitates friendships and employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.

Although Miley has become known for her wild antics and unique style, a source tells E! News that the family seems to approve of the duo!

"Anthony had a great time hanging out with his nephew and Miley during Art Basel," the source says. "He said Miley was a lot of fun. As far as he's concerned, the family has no problem with her."

Whew! That's a relief!

But at the end of the day, an uncle is just an uncle...so what does Patrick's mother, Maria Shriver, think about her 21-year-old's gal-pal? A source tells us that she likes the "Wrecking Ball" crooner, too! According to the Shriver family insider, Patrick said that his mom thinks Miley is a "very nice girl" and didn't have any objections to the relationship.

If the mom gives the stamp of approval, then that makes this relationship even more serious.

When Miley isn't busy partying and Patrick isn't studying, the two are doing cute things together. Recently the happy couple stopped by a charity event at Brooks Brothers in Beverly Hills honoring St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Although event organizers didn't know the twosome was attending, a source tells E! News they showed up around 5:30 p.m. to show their support.

"They were holding hands and didn't want to take photos together," the insider revealed. "They were very nice and took photos with the DJ, Oscar Adler." They also chatted with actress Joey King before leaving."

Miley and her main man have certainly gone from "good friends" to one of Hollywood's most followed couples in just a couple of months.

"They might seem like an odd pairing, but they are quite good for each other," a source told E! News. "They've been friends forever."
