The Goop creator sat down with Michaela Boehm for the latest interview on her lifestyle site and got up close and very personal about the ancient practice.
The how-to guide delves deep into the world of all things Tantric, and talks about how couples can regain their intimacy and heighten their behind-the-boudoir-doors lives.
Boehm advises that couples train themselves with periods of close eye contact, saying, "Practice looking at each other, while staying relaxed, breathing and simply noticing when you have reached a threshold where it's just a bit too intimate."
She also explained how expanding your repertoire through experimentation (have fun with it!) and being adventurous helps keep romance alive.
And on an entirely different note, the Oscar-winning star opened up about her upcoming holiday plans and how she chooses to opt out of having a New Year's resolution.
"You know, I'm not such a New Year's resolution maker," she explained in a sit-down while promoting the new Hugo Boss fragrance, Boss Ma Vie.
"Every day I try to resolve to do the things that I would like to do or be more of the person I would like to be, but I don't, I don't make like a big resolution, because I think that's a way to break a promise to yourself and fail and fail bad."
The mother of two continued, "I really love spending the holidays anywhere as long as it's with people that I love. I don't mind if it's a city Christmas or a country Christmas, just as long as I've got my people with me."
