Watch: Tori Spelling Talks 2014 Holiday Card, Featuring Dean

It's no secret that it's been a tumultuous year for Tori Spelling.

Following Dean McDermott's highly publicized cheating scandal, the 41-year-old beauty and her husband have been documenting the ups and downs of their marriage on their reality show True Tori, often showcasing their explosive fights on camera. And despite the criticism the couple has sometimes received for putting their lives on full display, Spelling insisted that her relationship is "stronger than it's been in possibly the last eight years" when she stopped by the E! News studio on Tuesday (tune in for the full interview tonight!).

As for further evidence that the couple has moved past the headline-making affair? McDermott, who spent time in rehab earlier this year "to address some health and personal issues," is featured on the couple's 2014 holiday card. Last year, Spelling shared Christmas-themed photos that did not show her husband, opting instead to post pics of her four children while blogging about feeling "grateful" for her family.

"We didn't really have a Christmas card last year," Spelling said to E! News, before touching on their rocky 2013 holiday season. "Dean was getting help for himself and that was really important for him to do and really important for our family during the holidays. This year, we're back together as a family and we're working on building that family dynamic back and making it stronger than it was before, so it was important to me that we mark this because it's a milestone year for us."

Milestone, indeed, considering the rollercoaster couple has been highly scrutinized by the public only to emerge "stronger" than ever, as McDermott previously dished on Today

"We are in a better place than ever," the 48-year-old father of five said. "Our love is stronger. We're solid. We're communicating. We're actually having a fully functional relationship."

Meanwhile, Tori hopes that her family will continue to move forward on a positive path, even as the future of True Tori is seemingly uncertain (McDermott previously told E! News that he's done with the show, while Tori hopes to continue). "I hope it's the first of many milestone years for us as a family," she said. "It's almost like a rebirth for the McDermott family and I wanted to chronicle that on our holiday card."
