Are you ready to head back unda' de sea?

Once Upon a Time just cast the next big bad villain for the back half of this season, and it's none other than the iconic Disney villain Ursula!

And even better, the ABC fairy-tale drama chose fan-favorite Alias alum Merrin Dungey for the role. Let's hope she's been practicing singing "Poor Unfortunate Souls"!

E! News has confirmed that Dungey will recur on Once Upon a Time as the Little Mermaid villain, but she isn't the first actress to take on the classic role on the show.

That honor actually goes to Community alum Yvette Nicole Brown, who voiced Ursula during a season three episode.

Our first thought after hearing this amazing casting news was to wonder if the reappearance of the Little Mermaid character meant that we'd get to see Ariel (Joanna Garcia Swisher) again on Once Upon a Time, but unfortunately, there's no word yet on whether or not the redhead will return to reprise her role.

But hey, fingers crossed we might finally get to meet Sebastian!

After the Frozen story arc finishes up in the midseason finale, Once Upon a Time is going to have its fair share of villains in the back half of the season. Dungey joins previously announced Victoria Smurfit, who will be playing Cruella de Vil, and Kristin Bauer van Straten, who is returning to reprise her season-one role of Maleficent.

Entertainment Weekly first reported this casting.
