Kris Jenner Makes the Most of a Flattering Filter on Instagram—but What Happened to Gordon Ramsay's Face?!

Celeb chef looks extremely unlike his normally ruggedly handsome self after being given an artificial smoothing-over

No #nofilter tag here.

Before sharing a photo of herself with Gordon Ramsay on Instagram today, Kris Jenner apparently gave the pic the usual, that's-what-makes-Instagram-great filter treatment. Whichever one she used—Rise, Valencia, the ever-popular Sierra—gave the pic a very mellow, flattering glow.

Well, it gave Kris a mellow, flattering glow, that is.

While the Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch looks rather radiant, Ramsay's visage looks strangely smooth and shiny. And we know the unfortunate makeover is a result of a filter, because Ramsay posted a picture from the very same photo op last week in which he looks...

Like his usual ruggedly handsome self. #Nofilter.

"Great seeing you tonight @krisjenner, can't wait [to] read the cookbook ! Gx," the Hell's Kitchen and MasterChef host captioned the un-retouched pic of himself alongside Kris, who's holding her new cookbook, In the Kitchen With Kris: A Collection of Jenner-Kardashian Family Favorites.

And no, the lighting was not particularly flattering, but both of them looked perfectly fine. Leave it to the social media expert, though, to do a little fine-tuning around the edges.

Kris' pic was taken from a slightly different angle, but within seconds of the other shot. "Thanks so much @gordongram for the shoutout and for your amazing support!! #Legend #GordonRamsay #InTheKitchenWithKris," she captioned her smoothed-over version, probably not realizing that filters aren't necessarily everyone's cup of tea.

Meanwhile, the E! star's cookbook also took her to Today this morning, where she mixed it up with Hoda Kotba and Jenna Bush Hager and opened up about her soon-to-be permanent split from Bruce Jenner.

"I think at some point in your life you have to make a decision to do what's right for your family and the kids," Kris said, "and I think that we decided to be grownups...We're just better apart than we are together, but we're still really good friends."

About the since-debunked rumor that he's dating her good friend, Ronda Kamihira, she replied, "I don't know who he's dating. He doesn't, like, check in with me and give me a play by play, but it's his life, and you just want the guy to be happy. You know, he's still the father of two of my children. We're friends."

Catch up with Kris' kids when Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons premieres this November on E!
