Until this morning, that is, when Blake Lively and her baby bump broke the Internet.
The former Gossip Girl star announced that she's expecting her first child with husband Ryan Reynolds on Monday via her website, Preserve, sharing a shot of her pregnancy curves in a gorgeous image taken by her brother Eric Lively.
And while the announcement may not have come as quite as a shock as the couple's I-dos (the two secretly tied the knot in September 2011 in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) considering Blake had already been candid about her desire to have children, the surprise baby news got us thinking: what pregnancy clues did Lively drop before her big reveal?
In late July, Blake—whom we predict is well into her second trimester based on her healthy baby bump—appeared in a video for Vogue's digital series in which she answered 73 questions.
And just like that, those rapid-fire responses take on a whole new meaning now that we know the soon-to-be mother has been busy eating for two!
As for her pregnancy cravings? It's safe to predict the blond beauty has been busy exercising her sweet tooth.
She previously revealed that her favorite dessert is "chocolate soufflé" and her favorite food is "melted cheese," adding that her favorite condiment is "mayonnaise."
Lively also shared that she would order "eggs benedict" for brunch and she prefers cake over pie in addition to choosing the one dish she would eat forever if she was stuck on an island. "Truffle pappardelle at Scalinatella," the 27-year-old stunner said, citing the famous NYC eatery.
As for what she'd be noshing on at 4 a.m. on a Saturday night?
"Cookies because the only reason I would be awake at 4 a.m. on a Saturday night is because I'm baking them," Ryan Reynolds' missus revealed.
If you watch closely enough, you can also see that Blake provided a baby bump sneak peek (blink and you'll miss it!) although we have to give the girl props on the incredibly strategic color-blocking of her dress which did wonders to conceal her burgeoning belly.
