It looks like the blond beauty and her nearest and dearest opted to celebrate the star's 30th birthday with a man-made Winter Wonderland. Hubby Evan Ross posted a sweet photo of his ladylove and her gal-pals enjoying the Christmas-themed bash on his Instagram with the caption, "Last night made it @ashleesimpsonofficial favorite holiday Christmas in California. It was a snowy one. Happy birthday baby."
The foursome were all smiles for the snapshot as they posed alongside a blow-up snowman with a "North Pole" sign on the real snow, with twinkling lights sprawled out behind them.
A source tells E! News, "One of Ashlee's best friends threw her a 'Dirty Thirty' Christmas-themed party at Ashlee's place last night. They had real snow brought in. Ashlee wore a coat and played in the snow. They have huge candy canes all over, Christmas trees, colorful lights draped around."
Sounds like someone couldn't wait to get a head start on the jolly season!
There's no word if sister Jessica Simpson joined in on the festivities, but the 34-year-old did take some time to give her younger sibling a lovely birthday shout-out on Instagram. In a stunning, wedding-esque picture of a picture that features Ashlee looking flawless in a lacy dress with her hair in braids, Jess writes sweetly, "Happy Birthday Ashlee! There is no one I believe in more than you. Thank you for inspiring me everyday. I love you!!! #dirty30."
