In case you didn't notice, Taylor Swift stepped out this week looking perfect in her knee socks and carrying her precious cat Olivia, who looks absolutely DONE and OVER being outside her cozy apartment.

But back to those knee socks. Taylor is way, way happy to be busting those out right now. How do we know? Because of Swifty's epic and completely accurate rant about the fall that she posted to her Tumblr page. A Tumblr page, by the way, that she has recently been obsessed with updating, so you'd better bookmark it because homegirl can get sassy. And she had to ask users to tell her how to use Tumblr, which is probably the cutest thing ever.

Anyway, you can read her ode to Fall in full, or you can just read our breakdown of it which includes GIFs. And we all know reading something on the Internet is always better with GIFs.

"And hats and scarves and knee socks and wearing tights for the first time in months..."

"when the mornings are all chilly and you can see your breath..."

"and draw little pictures on foggy windows"

"and plaid stuff"

Hooray for men busting out the plaid button-downs!

"and ANKLE BOOTS"

Wendy's Lookbook/YouTube

"and not caring when people make fun of pumpkin flavored stuff cause you LOVE IT and are happy it's all the rage"

"and people who dress their dogs in costumes on Halloween"

YouTube

"and fires in fireplaces"

"and maroon/hunter green/mustard yellow color combos"

Hey, maroon and yellow are the colors of Gryffindor!

"and baking your first fall batch of cookies but you put too much cinnamon in it because you're TOO EXCITED BECAUSE IT'S FALL."

It's fall, y'all! But our absolutely favorite part of Taylor's Tumblr rant is the fact that she tagged it as: "#HEAVY BREATHING." So she's either out of air because she said this all in one breath or she's so pumped about this time of year that she's losing oxygen.

Taylor, don't you dare change. Ever.
