Fans of the Hobbit films will rejoice in seeing the latest glimpse inside Peter Jackson's Middle-earth with this recently revealed tapestry.

The new artwork, which was first released by Entertainment Weekly, shows multiple scenes from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, which is currently scheduled for a Dec. 17 release date.

And before you crack out your handy magnifying glass, we've split up all of the extremely detailed, action packed scenes from the tapestry so you can get a close-up look at everything that's being depicted—because, honestly, there's a lot going on.

Almost every major player in Jackson's final piece to the trilogy is featured in the new artwork, from Bard the Bowman to Smaug, Galadriel and Gandalf, Legolas and Tauriel, Thorin Oakenshield, Fili and Kili, and of course, Bilbo Baggins himself.

The Battle of the Five Armies looks exciting, without a doubt, and will bring all of our favorite characters from the two previous installments of J.R.R. Tolkien's story into one massive, final showdown.

Back in July at Comic-Con 2014, the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated film was released by the film's Twitter account and promptly retweeted by Sir Ian McKellen.

McKellen and Martin Freeman were notably absent at the film's massive presentation—but Stephen Colbert, who dressed in full hobbit regalia, moderated a panel that included the upcoming flick's director, Evangeline Lilly, Orlando Bloom, Cate BlanchettElijah WoodBenedict CumberbatchAndy Serkis and Lee Pace.
