Cheers to this high school student for wanting to stand out, especially when it comes to yearbook photos. Who wants to look at the same pose over and over again? Spice things up a bit, people!

And yeah, the fact that this photo includes an incredibly fluffy cat doesn't hurt either. We at E! Loves are big cat lovers, in case you couldn't tell.

Draven Rodriguez, a student at Schenectady High School in upstate New York, wants to have his senior portrait in his school's yearbook stand out. So he made sure to get one taken that his fellow peers and the world won't soon forget.

Just look at it!

You can't look away, can you? Those lasers. The deep, probing gaze of the cat, whose name is Mr. Bigglesworth, because of course it is. The true bond between man and beast. It is true art. (Sorry, Miley). This photo has it all.

Except a sure place in the yearbook. Now the school hasn't said they won't include the photo at all in the yearbook, but they have said that they won't allow this photo (or the alternate version pictured below) to appear in the student portrait section, a decision that Draven is currently petitioning.

"I'm not trying to make any statement, other than my photo is ridiculous and this is how I am," Rodriguez told The Daily Gazette. "I don't want to go in the yearbook with the generic 'I-look-like-everyone-else' photo. I wanted a 'He looks great. Only he would try that' photo."

He's hoping that with enough signatures he will be able to get this glorious cat-centric photo in the portrait section and not just stuck in the back with the well-wishes from parents. Because honestly, who even reads those?!

He has until Sept. 15 to get enough signatures, so make the right decision, reader, and help Draven and Mr. Bigglesworth be immortalized in glossy yearbook form.
