When Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher are finally ready for date night again after they became parents...

They can call The Band Perry!

"We told them we would babysit if they ever need us to, so we are here, give us a call," singer Kimberly Perry told E! News last night in an exclusive chat during Fashion Rocks 2014 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

And they've had time to prepare! It turns out that Kimberly and siblings Neil and Reed Perry knew about their fellow country star's big news for a while before Carrie was ready to go public.

"Well, you know Carrie is a dear friend of ours and she was at my wedding, she and Mike," Kimberly explained. "We actually heard the news a little bit early before the rest of the world did and we are just so thrilled for them.

"They are just such great human beings and they are going to be great parents," she gushed.

Sounds like a ringing endorsement for Carrie and her NHL player hubby of four years! Like Carrie, Kimberly also married a professional athlete, baseball player J.P. Arencibia.

Asked if she had any plans to add to the family in the near future, Kimberly, who just tied the knot in July, laughed and said it wasn't in the cards just yet...but some day.

"We are working towards our third record now, but I am sure somewhere down the line that will be happening. In country music apparently that's going to be a big deal in the next year, so we'll see what will be happening!"

True story: Pop turned country-pop star Kelly Clarkson recently welcomed a baby girl, and Lady Antebellum's Dave Haywood just became a dad this week.

And speaking of crossover stars like Clarkson, we had to ask what The Band Perry thinks of Taylor Swift traveling far beyond the confines of the genre, more so than ever on her latest tune, "Shake It Off."

"I think the artist's prerogative is a beautiful thing," Kimberly said supportively, "and we all have goals and dreams and desires, and it's our job to chase those. You know we wish her lots of luck with her wings in the pop world."
