By now, you may have heard that the polarizing pop star was met with an unwarm welcome while making a a surprise appearance at Fashion Rocks in Brooklyn on Tuesday night, an annual international charity fundraiser event which features fashions by the world's top designers and live performances by some of music's biggest names.
While taking the stage to announce performer Rita Ora, the 20-year-old singer was hit with a series of boos from the audience at which point he decided to strip (because everyone knows that's the best way to respond to your haters, right?!).
But wait—before you dismiss the strip tease as a simple publicity stunt, let the Biebs explain, as he took to Twitter to clarify that his Magic Mike-inspired moment was entirely impromptu.
"Just stripped on national television hahahaha it wasn't planned lmao," Selena Gomez's on-again, off-again man captioned an Instagram pic in which he's standing shirtless next to a rather amused Lara Stone.
Likewise, the Dutch model also shared an Instagram pic on her personal page, writing, "Thanks for that @justinbieber @calvinklein @fashionrockslive #dope #nycalvins."
In the pic, the Biebs is striking a lunge pose in just his boxers while placing his hands on his hips, showing off his ripped bod as well as his mini mustache.
While Bieber may still be laughing about his striptease seen on national TV, the "Beauty and a Beat" singer seemingly took his body flaunting sesh quite seriously at the time.
Bieber unbuttoned his blue blazer, took off his shoes, pulled down his pants and took off his black tank top (and even his socks!) before asking the crowd, "Is that better?" (Well, that all depends on if you're a Belieber.)
After the show, Bieber hit up the Galore party at Queen of the Night at the Diamond Horseshoe in the Paramount Hotel, where he partied with pals, including Joe Jonas, Gigi Hadid, Usher, Skrillex and Diplo.
"They arrived around 1:30 and at first sat with DJ Mia Moretti," a source tells E! News. "When Bieber had to go to the bathroom, 10 bodyguards escorted him while Usher hung with Skrillex and Diplo."
The insider added that Bieber "had a table set up for him on-stage. His bodyguards were handpicking girls to come up and join him."

Naturally, the clip provides an excellent close-up of Bieber's package.
And suddenly, we miss those awful drop-crotch pants.
