Nashville Baby Alert! Hayden Panettiere's Real-Life Pregnancy Is Being Written Into the Show...but Who's the Father?

For those of you who guessed that Hayden Panettiere's real-life pregnancy will be written into Nashville, you get three gold stars, because that's exactly what's happening!

E! News has confirmed that Nashville season three will feature a pregnant Juliette Barnes...and the drama just starts there.

Remember when Juliette made the poor life choice to cheat on her perfect boyfriend Avery (Jonathan Jackson) and drunkenly hook up with Jeff Fordham (Oliver Hudson, now a series regular), the skeezy head of Edgehill Republic, her old record label? That's going to come back around to bite her in the butt more than you can imagine.

As if Juliette doesn't have enough boy problems to deal with, not only did that ill-advised one night stand ruin her relationship with Avery, but it's also going to cause her some major baby daddy drama, since she doesn't know if the father is Avery or Jeff! Yikes.

While we can't wait to see how Juliette handles the impending responsibilities of motherhood, we can't help but feel bad for the poor girl. She's never had an easy life—from her drug addict mother, to her trailer park past, to her endless career and boy troubles—but she's always been able to claw her way to the top.

Will Juliette be able to find the joy in becoming a mother, or will she try to terminate the pregnancy to save her career and relationship? Will she finally get her happily-ever-after with Avery if the baby is his? Or in a less happier version, if the baby is Avery's, will the southern gentleman feel obligated to marry her and raise the kid? Now that's a wedding doomed from the start. No matter what the producers decide, the drama on Nashville is going to be a real mother this season.

Back in June, E! News confirmed Panettiere was pregnant with her and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko's first child together. Panettiere showed off her baby bump when she hit the beach last week with her boxer beau, who recently told us, "She's going to be more than an amazing mother."

Nashville season three kicks off with an episode filled with live musical performances on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
