Kelly Rowland Is Having a Baby Boy! Find Out How She Accidentally Confirmed the Sex

"It's very exciting," says the mom-to-be

It's official. Kelly Rowland is expecting a baby boy!

During an interview with FOX411, the pregnant singer accidentally spilled the beans on the sex of her baby-to-be.

"We're very excited," the 33-year-old said. "So far, everything has been good. I just feel like the baby is already [spoiled] rotten–like literally, my Caress family has gotten him all of his little bathing stuff, his toys. It's just so cool."

Realizing she'd dropped a very specific pronoun, Rowland revealed, "It, it's...aw, f--k it! It's a boy. It's a boy!"

Rowland then turned to her publicist and asked the rep to phone her hubby Tim Witherspoon. "Can you please tell him that I spilled the beans?" she said before telling her belly, "I'm sorry, baby."

The news isn't exactly a total surprise. Just the other week, Rowland was spotted stocking up on baby gear for a boy.

E! News also caught up with Rowland this week at her Caress event. She dished of her pregnancy cravings, "I love rye with turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions—the works. I like to make it myself then cut it open and just look at it."

But she also likes to go out for food. "My favorite thing to do right now is go to Nobu Malibu," she said. "At Nobu there is this salad, the cucumber salad. And the crab tempura in ponzu sauce. Oh my God!"
