Billy Bob Thornton is looking for another television project.

While the actor is up for an Emmy for his work in Fargo, he won't be returning for the second season.

"It was such a thrill to do the show," Thornton told me earlier this week at the Emmy Awards Performers Peer Group Celebration at the Montage Beverly Hills hotel. "I have nothing to complain about. Hopefully, another one that good will come along."

When I asked on what series would he like to be a guest star, Thornton smiled, "Saved by the Bell is not on anymore, so I think I missed my chance."

"There's so much good stuff on TV," he said. "Maybe I can play what's his name? Hoder on Games of Thrones, the guy who only says, 'Hoder.' Maybe I could be his cousin or something, his long lost cousin."

Get on it, GOT!

And we couldn't let Thornton go without talking about his awesome black cowboy boots emblazoned with two silver snakes with bright red, forked tongues.

"I got these in New Mexico a long time ago," Thornton said. "I don't anymore, but it used to be when I finished a movie or something, I would always treat myself to a pair of boots. That was always my thing."

How many pairs does he own? "1.2 million," he cracked, before revealing, "50."
