Things are heating up between Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed.

The duo has not only been consistently hanging out since they sparked romance rumors last weekend, but also reportedly packed on the PDA when they attended a Comic-Con after party Saturday night.

The 35-year-old Vampire Diaries hottie and Twilight Saga actress were kissing and holding hands inside of the Entertainment Weekly party at Hard Rock Hotel's Float Bar, a source tells E! News. "They were so together," the insider said. Another source told E! News Somerhalder and Reed "were hot and heavy," adding that "they weren't hiding their PDA at all."

In what could have made for a really awkward situation, Somerhalder's ex girlfriend, Nina Dobrev, was also in attendance. Luckily, they missed running in to each other inside.

Although the Vampire Diaries stars called it quits in May 2013, Dobrev and Somerhalder used to go on double dates with Reed and her then husband Paul McDonald. The 26-year-old actress and American Idol alum later split in March.

Dobrev didn't seem too phased by Somerhalder and Reed's new status though. She was spotted hanging out at the EW party with Ben McKenzie, and left the party with him in a cab, a source tells E! News. The night before, the brunette and Orlando Bloom were spotted "flirting" at Friday's Playboy and A&E Bates Motel event.

There wasn't any kissing, but obvious laughing and flirting between the two, a source tells E! News. "Nobody had any idea they knew each other. They seemed connected like magnets. They were canoodling; he had his arm around her."

That doesn't necessarily mean they're an item, though. "Nina is loving single life," the source said. "She is definitely enjoying herself right now."
