The good-looking duo was spotted relaxing in Cancun recently, soaking up the summer sun and working on their tans.

But it seems that the buxom model's sunning efforts went a bit awry after she got sunburned early on in the three-day vacation. Check out those tan lines!

That didn't stop Upton from continuing to rest by the ocean, though, as she was spotted reading a book while lying out next to Verlander.

The athlete made sure to rub some sunscreen on his leading lady to ensure that she didn't burn herself any further.

According to an eyewitness, the two were "very loved up and enjoyed being with each other" during their beachy getaway.

And based on the photos, Upton appeared to be all smiles as she took a break from her jam-packed schedule to catch up on some quality time with her boyfriend.

The Sports Illustrated star also looked flawless in a blue floral-print bikini—which highlighted her ample cleavage, of course!

Verlander, on the other hand, wore red swimming trunks was seen taking plenty of dips in the ocean while Upton stayed on shore.
