Lindsay Lohan was floored—literally—while attending the Ischia Film Festival in Italy on Monday night. Wearing a dazzling silver flapper-inspired dress, the actress accidentally took a tumble during the glamorous event, which was caught by nearby photographers.
So what happened to make LiLo fall to the ground? Just your average trip, thanks to her matching metallic stilettos that ended up working against her (those things can be dangerous). And we wish we could say she had a graceful landing, but...well, you can see the picture.
Lohan was helped up by a security guard and walked away while shunning the shutterbugs that kept snapping photos.
This is a bit of a rocky start for LiLo, who has expressed a desire to continue her career overseas.
Currently in London for her debut in David Mamet's play Speed-the-Plow later this year, Lohan tells the BBC, "I think I am making the move to come over here...I've noticed when I'm watching the news here and such, you guys have such a different outlook. In the U.S., starting at 5 p.m., it's TMZ and all of these shows that are just talking about people's personal lives that are in the industry. Here, I don't notice any of that. It's more news and politics and music.
"It feels really good to be able to turn on the TV and not see everything be about gossip."
