Justin Theroux has officially adapted to the Los Angeles way of life.

The 42-year-old actor, who smolders in a new photo shoot for Interview magazine, opened up the publication about the pros and cons of living in L.A., his first foray into the acting world and his workout regime, in addition to revealing whether he sleeps in the nude (Jennifer Aniston, you are one lucky lady!).

And no surprise, the sexy stud, who currently stars in the HBO series The Leftovers, instantly has us swooning as gives insight into his personal life.

Theroux dishes on his upbringing in Washington, D.C., and reveals that he wasn't good student growing up, attending a nontraditional school until he reached the fourth grade.

"I went to a Rudolf Steiner school—they're awful," he says. "They're still around, these experimental schools that started in the 1920s, no grades, no real classes. It was all knitting and beeswax-making—s--t like that. Then after my parents got divorced, I had to go right into public school in the fourth grade. The Steiner school had never really taught me how to read, so it was a rude awakening. I was playing catch-up the whole time."

The Wanderlust star, who struggled with academics, quickly discovered his passion for acting and pursued the craft from an early age.

"I was always acting," he reveals when asked when he first began performing. "I was doing after-school plays and stuff like that. But I wasn't doing well in any of the schools, so by ninth or tenth grade, I ended up going to a boarding school. D.C. is a hard city to grow up in. I couldn't find my footing there. Also, I got a late start academically, and I was dyslexic."

Theroux has since found his footing, splitting his time between L.A. and NYC, which he says is "kind of perfect."

"That's always been a goal, to be bicoastal in a real way," he says while admitting that he has learned to love Los Angeles.

"I like all the clichés. I mean, I love someone who lives in Los Angeles—so that's a big draw," he says, referring to fiancée Aniston. "But I love the weather. It does feel like a slightly healthier lifestyle, being able to hike and do all that crap."

As evidenced by his hunky figure, Theroux clearly keeps up with his fitness regime. So how does he stay so smokin' hot?

"I like to work out in the afternoon, around three or four," he reveals. "I just don't like to wake up and sweat. I'd rather have a cup of coffee. In New York I used to just be more active. I'd always ride my bike everywhere or skateboard everywhere, walk, whatever. Then I started going to the gym."

Adding further fuel to his hotness factor? The actor's revelation that he "always" sleeps in the nude.

As for what happiness means to the hunky thesp?

"My dogs..." he says, "And my lady, of course."

We repeat: Jennifer Aniston, you are one lucky gal.
