Get ready to grab your popcorn earlier than expected because Fast & Furious 7 will be parked in theaters ahead of schedule.

Actually, before the tragic death of Paul Walker last November, the sequel was due for release this month, but the big-budget project was pushed back to April 10, 2015.

Universal confirmed today, however, that the highly anticipated flick's worldwide release date has moved up a week to April 3. allowing the studio to book more international screens.

Dwayne JohnsonVin DieselMichelle Rodriguez and more of the franchise regulars are back, and this time are joined by Djimon Hounsou and Jason Statham. And in an addition that surely has fans wondering how the film is going to pull this off, Walker's brothers Cody and Caleb are filling in for the late actor, Paul having completed only some of his scenes before he was killed in a car crash on Nov. 30.

It was a wrap for Johnson yesterday—the action star having filmed his last scene—and he made sure that the rest of the movie's crew, including director James Wan received some love (and some credit) for all of their hard work.

Sharing a behind-the-scenes pic on Instagram, the pro wrestler turned thesp wrote, "My last day. I'm truly touched by the farewell love my film crew has shown me. It's been an honour to work with such an incredibly hard working and brilliant crew."

The heartfelt caption continued, "They may not be household names, but they'll ALWAYS be stars in my book. With great love and respect to all of you... see ya down the yellow brick road. Another place. Another time.#ThankUForAllYourWork."
