With every cloud comes a silver lining. We read that once in a yearbook because it was our own quote under our senior picture.

But what we're trying to say is that even though you guys might be really bummed that Netflix has pulled almost 80 movies from its streaming service starting today, there's some good news. Netflix is also adding over 40 movies to its lineup. Sure, we're only getting about half the amount of movies that are being taken away from us (we did the complicated math), but it's higher than zero (again, more math). And more than one of the new movies stars Lindsay Lohan in her prime, so that's something to be pumped about, right?

You can read the full list of new movies coming to Netflix here (some were previously announced), or we can just talk about 12 flicks we're most excited about:

1. 12 Angry Men

We remember seeing this movie for the first time and it blew. Our. Minds. One room. 12 men. Who knew so much tension could be created with so little production? If you haven't seen it yet, we highly suggest watching it first.

2. Mean Girls

Lindsay Lohan's best film? Discuss. Personally, we think Mean Girls is really  a celebration of Rachel McAdams.

3. The Karate Kid and The Karate Kid, Part II

The originals, sans Jaden Smith. Whether that it a pro or con for you will tell us everything we need to know about your life.

4. Basic Instinct

We all know you're going to pause, rewind and replay that particular moment at least four times. That's what the Internet is for, folks. Just watch the movie.

5. Fever Pitch

It's a guilty pleasure at best, but Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon are at their most awkwardly adorable. Yankees fans probably will skip this one, though.

6. Boyz n the Hood

The U.S. Library of Congress deemed this film "culturally significant," so it better be in your queue.

7. Legends of the Fall

Also known as "Brad Pitt and the Sexual Awakening of Every Teenager in 1995."

8. Star Trek I: The Motion Picture and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country

An education for those young'uns who think Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto are the only Kirk and Spock out there.

9. My Girl and My Girl 2

"He can't see without his glasses!" (BRB sobbing forever.)

10. The Hunt for Red October

You are now reading this in your best Sean Connery voice.

11. Bad Santa

Starring truly despicable character played to perfection by Billy Bob Thornton. If you're looking for Christmas cheer, stick with Elf.

12. The Parent Trap

Double the Lindsay Lohan used to be a good thing.
