Kate Middleton looked as chic as ever as she and her dashing husband Prince William celebrated the 88th birthday of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, at the Trooping the Color parade in London on Saturday, June 14.

The 32-year-old Duchess of Cambridge wore a cropped, textured light blue jacket and skirt by British fashion house Alexander McQueen, one of her favorites, which also designed her famous 2011 wedding dress, as well as a cute hat with floral, leafy accents. She appeared to match her grandmother-in-law as well. The British monarch wore a powder blue silk Angela Kelly coat with navy blue floral accents over a dress and matching hat, according to Hello! magazine.

The duchess, who, sadly, did not bring the couple's adorable 10-month-old baby son Prince George, rode in a carriage with Prince William's 29-year-old brother, Prince Harry, and stepmother, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, who went for the opposite Sleeping Beauty look. Instead of blue, she opted for a pale pink blazer over a white V-neck shirt, topped with a matching hat decorated with a massive rose and ribbons.

William, 31, rode on horseback and posed with his family on a balcony, where Kate and Harry shared a laugh. The Duke of Cambridge sported a tried-and-true favorite—his red and gold-trimmed Irish Guards uniform, which he also wore to the Royal Wedding. He serves as honorary colonel of the British army regiment and wore a black and gold-trimmed uniform at a military ceremony on Thursday.

Dozens of bearskin hat-wearing British soldiers marched in line behind the Queen, who rode in her own carriage with her 93-year-old husband Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. Spectators crowded around the parade area near Buckingham Palace.

The queen had actually turned 88 in April but her annual Trooping the Parade birthday celebration takes place every June, when there's a better chance of pleasant weather in notoriously-cloudy London.
