Robert Pattinson is looking a little blue.
That's because his beautiful face is dirtied up with blue, gray and purplish hues (of paint or makeup, TBD) on the cover of French magazine Première.
The 27-year-old hunk looks less than thrilled in the shot (which is still sexy because of its flawless subject). Perhaps it has something to do with the fact he appears to be wearing lipstick (or is that smeared blood?!) and a tight shirt checkered with floral patterns.
It's only fitting that R.Pattz landed the film mag's special Cannes issue. The leading man's next big picture Maps to the Stars is premiering at the acclaimed film festival, which kicks off May 14.
Funnily enough, Rob plays an aspiring actor and limo driver in the satiric flick. He's not the only big name in Maps to the Stars' cast though: Julianne Moore, John Cusack, Carrie Fisher, Olivia Williams and Mia Wasikowska are all a part of the highly anticipated movie.
Rob got particularly close with both Julianne and Mia during filming. His character has explicit sex scenes with both the ladies' characters, which, you can see for yourself in Maps to the Stars' very NSFW trailer.
He's come so far since his Twilight days!
