The E! star shared an old photo of herself with Anna Wintour and daughter North West at a lunch meeting for Throwback Thursday on Instagram, which not only happened to be the day they discussed the famous mag cover, but was also Nori's first introduction to the Vogue editor-in-chief.

Wintour and Kardashian looked chic as always while sitting down at a nice restaurant. Kim seemed to be lit up at whatever they were discussing—probably the cover—while Anna shared the enthusiasm with a big smile (although we hope she didn't let that delish food on her plate get cold!).
Meanwhile, cutie North seemed to pay no mind to who she was sitting at the table with and instead focused all her attention on daddy Kanye West who was snapping the picture. So cute!
It was recently revealed that it was Vogue creative director Grace Coddington's choice to put Kimye on the April 2014 cover.
"There was a wedding story to be done," Coddington said, while speaking with the Financial Times. "And Anna [Wintour] probably had them in mind, because she had been seeing a lot of Kanye, so she said, ‘Maybe we should shoot it on look-alikes.' And I thought, ‘Why not just do it on the real thing? This is Vogue.'"
Coddington added, "I do think Kim Kardashian represents this moment in our culture. I'm fascinated by her, in the same way I'm fascinated by the people I see on the street or the subway."
