Katherine Webb and fiancé AJ McCarron are in talks for a reality show, a source confirms to E! News.
So will the show feature the couple's forthcoming I-dos? Possibly, but nothing has been confirmed.
"AJ and Katherine are in talks for a reality series about their lives but not specifically about wedding planning and the actual wedding," the source revealed, adding that the series would be similar to E!'s Eric and Jessie: Game On.
The insider continued, noting that "if the reality series comes to life then the wedding planning" or the couple's nuptials "may be included."
However, the source stressed that the duo's trip down the aisle—which will occur on July 12, not July 11 as previous reported—is happening so fast that it might not make the series, particularly since filming has not begun.
News of the Alabama-born sweethearts' engagement broke last week after Webb took to Twitter to announce the happy occasion and show off her stunning sparkler.
A source later exclusively told E! News that the 23-year-old star quarterback was planning and organizing to pop the question "for a while", and the special occasion was truly a family affair.
"AJ and his mom told her [Webb] they had to be on property for a benefit," the source explained. "It wasn't out of the ordinary for her to be attending a charity benefit. They told her it was for a charity Dee Dee [Carron's mother] was involved in."
And lucky for the lovebirds, the moment was caught on camera.
"Katherine and AJ were told the charity's cameras wanted to do some beauty shots of the couple at Coast Restaurant at the Beach Club," the source explained. "So, AJ and Katherine headed to Coast Restaurant, and that's where AJ proposed. He proposed overlooking the Gulf of Mexico."
The 24-year-old bride-to-be was completely shocked when she received the 5-carat cushion-cut center sparkler and "didn't have a clue she was going to be proposed to that weekend."
"Can't wait to marry my best friend," Webb captioned a recent pic of her bling, which AJ designed himself. "I can't stop looking at it!"
