It seems like Cyrus' mom, Tish, decided to try to cheer up her daughter during this tough time by adding a new cute puppy to the family—meet Moonie!
"my mama knew my heart was broken & this morning I woke up to Moonie kisses," Miley tweeted with the precious photo of the pup above. "no one could ever replace my baby Floyd but this precious angel is lendin me some fur to cry on along with my other babies," she added.
"Can't wait to introduce Bean and Happy to Moonie Currently soakin up some Moonie & Mary Jane.... so many emotions I am exhausted," Cyrus wrote.
Prior to adding another pup to the fam, the pop star was seeking solace from her rescue dog Mary Jane, whom she adopted with her former fiancé, Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth. "Crackin a smile thanks to Mary Jane," the blond beauty captioned the photo.
The singer first informed her Twitter followers that Floyd, her Alaskan Klee Kai, had passed away on Tuesday, writing, "Today is the 2nd worst day of my life," before adding, "I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken." She also shared several pictures of herself with her four-legged friend and told tweeters, "I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him. This is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him? I am miserable."
Despite dealing with a tragedy, Miley continued with her Bangerz tour and decided to sing a rendition of Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" in memory of Floyd.
