ABC/Kelsey McNealMarvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pumped up the drama in preparation for a big-screen crossover, while Glee dazzled fans with their first all NYC episode. Plus, we've got all of the small screens biggest moments from The Mindy Project, The Voice and More!
Twisted: Things got pretty…well…twisted on tonight's season one finale. It turns out, that Charlie's mom was Danny's Aunt Tara and as soon as he discovered the Danny "killed" her, he immediately stole a car so that he could be sent to the same juvey center as Danny. Charlie saw how close that Danny and Jo have become so he kidnapped her and held her at knifepoint.
Jo's parents arrived and just as Kyle was about to shoot, Tess begged him not too. Once upon a scandal, Tess got pregnant with Vikram's baby and apparently Vikram gave said baby to his sister Tara. Sooo, Charlie was actually threatening to harm his own sister! The episode ended with a gunshot but we have no idea if anyone was hit.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Welcome back Marvel lovers, lets jump right in. Skye was officially upgraded to a full-on agent in tonight's hour, "End of the Beginning," and the team split up in pairs of two in order to track down The Clairvoyant. On their quest, Blake and May ran into Deathlok, who is working for The Clairvoyant and running interference for the "psychic" baddie. Despite Blake's attempts to bring the humanity out of Deathlok, the super soldier-of sorts, declared that his former life as Mike Peterson is over.
Garrett and Coulson find a man in a wheelchair surrounded by computers who claimed to be The Clairvoyant, but in reality, the real Clairvoyant was controlling the computers that were talking for the man. Coulson eventually came to the jaw-dropping conclusion that The Clairvoyant must be an agent within their ranks. All signs point to Agent Hand who ordered that everyone on the Bus be killed except for Agent Coulson. "He's mine," she darkly declared.
But that's not all! The series set up a Captain America crossover for next week's episode by showing The Winter Soldier take out a vehicle driven by Nick Fury, who was fleeing the cops in Washington, D.C. Just as it looked like the Winter Soldier was about to kill Agent Fury (Noooo!), the episode cuts to black and then gave us a sneak peak at the big movie opening this Friday.
The Voice: And we've got a seal! When Team Usher's Stevie Jo and Morgan Wallen battled it out on the stage tonight with a flawless rendition of "The Story of My Life," Usher decided to hold onto Stevie while Adam Levine quickly snatched up Morgan. Still in the running? Shakira decided to keep Deja Hall, while Blake Shelton opted to hold onto Sisaundra Lewis. Umm, can we just talk about how incredible Sisaundra's voice is?! Homegirl is flawless and we would listen to her all day, everyday.
The Mindy Project: It's ba-aaack! And TV has a new power couple, people: Danny and Mindy. Yes, that's right, the bantering will-they-or-won't-they duo is officially together after their epic first kiss on the airplane (Did you squeal when Danny said "Four" too?!), though it wasn't exactly an easy road to happily changing their Facebook statuses. (If Danny even had a Facebook, that is.)
In the first episode, Mindy's plans to officially end things with Cliff so she can be with Danny hit a detour when his grandmother dies. Alas, the truth eventually comes out…at the funeral, with Cliff punching Danny. Hey, what's a bruised cheek when you're finally with the woman you want to be with?
In the second, damn-near-perfect, episode, Mindy's secret sex tape with Tom (Welcome back, Bill Hader) almost derails their short-lived romance, with his enraged reaction to the video tipping off Peter to their relationship. But Peter, the show's resident douchebag who just last week called in a bomb threat to work because he was hungover, becomes the MVP of our hearts (and the ep) when he brings the duo back together. Cue Danny and Mindy lying in a hospital bed together, with him reading Bridget Jones' Diary, voices and all, to her. Swoon Dot Com, yo.
Glee: We're in a New York state of mind—and we love it! Glee officially made the switch to an entirely NYC-centric series, and it was one of the best episodes that we've seen in a long time. True we did miss Santana's bitchy snark, but we wish her well while she's on her romantic vacay with Brittany. So what's the perfect antidote to Rachel's diva behavior? A truth bomb and tongue-lashing from Artie! After a man in crutches robbed Artie on the subway, Rachel decided to ditch her personal driver (provided by the Funny Girl producers) and be his personal subway buddy as long as he promised to keep her ego in check.
Kurt and Blaine faced a harsh reality that moving in together straight away was a bad idea. They both need space and time to grow, but before you start to freak out, Klaine fans, don't worry—they're still 100 percent together and having "super hot make-up sex" any chance they get. Wowzers! Sam booked his first modeling gig for booty-enhancing underwear for men and he and Blaine decided to move into Mercedes' spare bedroom. Oh yeah, did we mention that Mercedes moved to town? Things are looking up for our WMHS alumni and the musical performances have never been better. Yay NYC Glee!
