Shailene Woodley proves she's one kickass movie heroine in Divergent!

But what does the 22-year-old actress think of being compared to other young, strong female film characters from recent years, like Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan in Twilight and Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games?

"It's totally flattering just to be compared to characters like that," Woodley told E! News at the Divergent premiere in L.A. last night. "Also, I don't personally know Kristen or Jen but they both seem like strong, confident women and so I'll take a comparison. That's a compliment, right?"

While promoting Divergent recently, it was revealed that Lawrence had a hand in convincing Woodley to take on the role of Tris in Divergent.

According to Woodley, Lawrence told her via a series of email exchanges, "You must do it. You will not regret it for a second. Yes, there are some hard things, but there are so many beautiful things that will come from an opportunity like this." And the rest is  heroine history!

At last night's premiere, Woodley also opened up to us about her unique healthy lifestyle and holistic practices, which involve eating clay and sunbathing her vagina for the vitamin D.

"I guess it's an honor in a way, right?" Woodley dished. "Because these are things that I believe in and I think that it's sort of beautiful for us to take our sovereignty and our health back into and our hands. And if I can sort of be a voice for that, then what a really honorable position to be in."
