Canada's PSA Video Protesting Russia's Anti-Gay Propaganda Law Is Simply the Best

"The games have always been a little gay," reads the video

Oh, Canada. We may make lots of jokes at your expense, but damn it, you're awesome. This just further proves that fact.

The Canadian Institute of Diversity and Inclusion released a PSA protesting Russia's anti-gay propaganda law with what is probably one of the best videos you'll watch about the Winter Olympics in Sochi.

In case you haven't heard, Russia signed a bill last July that outlaws pro-gay "propaganda" that could be seen by minors. The vague wording of the law basically makes it illegal for anyone to publically support the LGBT community in public. And if you're gay, forget about PDA in Russia. So the Canadian Institute of Diversity and Inclusion made this little video featuring two men preparing for the luge doubles event, set to The Human League's "Don't You Want Me." The message is simple, but oh-so-accurate:

"The games have always been a little gay. Let's fight to keep them that way."
