Mia Farrow is standing up for her daughter in her latest family-related tweet.
Dylan Farrow most recently penned an open letter to The New York Times alleging that she was sexually abused by Woody Allen when she was a child.
The famous actress' daughter detailed the supposed incidents, claiming that the esteemed filmmaker took her into the attic in their home and sexually assaulted her when she was just seven years old.
"I love my daughter," Mia wrote on her Twitter page.
"I will always protect her. A lot of ugliness is going to be aimed at me. But this is not about me, it's about her truth."
Allen's attorneys have indeed lashed out against the Farrows since the open letter was published.
Elkan Abramowitz appeared on NBC's Today to speak on the filmmaker's behalf, saying that Dylan "was a pawn in a huge fight between him and Mia Farrow 20 years ago, and the idea that she was molested was implanted in her by her mother."
Abramowitz added that Allen's "reaction is one of overwhelming sadness because of what has happened to Dylan."
Co-anchor Savannah Guthrie then asked if he believes that Dylan is making up the allegations.
"My view is she's not lying. I think she truly believed this happened," Abramowitz said. "That's what the divisiveness is. When you implant a story in a fragile 7-year-old's mind, it stays there forever. It never goes away."
Allen has previously denied the charges in Dylan's letter, calling them "untrue and disgraceful."
