Speculation as to whether or not Sean "Diddy" Combs popped the question to his lady Cassie Ventura went wild after the business mogul posted a photo of a giant diamond ring that he purchased for the singer.
"Baby do you like it? I just want to get you wat you Like ! I just wanna Mk you smile :) #takeDat. !," Diddy wrote. However, it looks like the bling was just a (very expensive and lavish) gift and nothing else, because his rep tells E! News the couple are not engaged.
Rumors continued to swirl after the 27-year-old was photographed wearing the sparkler on her ring finger. According to commenters on the original ring photo, the singer denied the engagement claims on Instagram, but then deleted the post.
This isn't the first time these two lovebirds were the center of engagement rumors. In April 2012, Cassie shared a photo of her new manicure, but all eyes were on the large sparkler on her ring finger. Diddy's rep denied the claims.
Cassie was initially signed to Diddy's Bad Boy Records back in the early 2000s. After years of speculation of the pair taking their relationship to the romantic level, the two confirmed their love via Instagram in 2012. "I'm a very lucky man #knowthat," he said on a photo that has since been removed.
