Kerry Washington's "best accessory" stole the red carpet spotlight last night when she arrived at the Chateau Marmont to celebrate her Screen Actors Guild Award nomination.

The mama-to-be looked absolutely gorgeous while attending Entertainment Weekly's star-studded celebration in Hollywood, Calif. on Friday, Jan. 17, which honored this year's SAG nominees.

The 36-year-old fashionista flaunted her baby bump in a subtle, yet stylish fashion, wearing a white dress with pretty black embroidery that loosely hugged her pregnant belly which she paired with matching pointed toe-pumps. She completed her chic look by adding a pop of color with a hot pink clutch and a large pink choker necklace, proudly clutching her growing bump as she posed for pics.

While Washington has consistently earned rave reviews in the style department, dressing a baby bump can still be tricky, and the ABC star admits she's wearing whatever works (although she's done a pretty good job thus far!) during her pregnancy.

"I look for that things that fit," Nnamdi Asomugha's stunning missus told E! News on the carpet last night while letting out a giant laugh when asked about her pregnancy style. "That's the first rule—what fits."

As for the soon-to-be-mother's second style rule?

"I mean it's the same for me I just have to feel good in it and like it myself so that I feel comfortable all night," she shared.

When asked whether her pregnancy has been easy or if she's experienced any odd cravings, the notoriously private star—who was only photographed with her husband of seven months for the first time at a Golden Globes afterparty earlier this month—opted not to divulge any specific details on her personal life.

"You know, it's sort of like the rest of my private life, I'm not talking about it that much, but I feel really really blessed it just feels like a really good time," she gushed.

Washington's pregnancy was first announced in October 2013, though she didn't confirm the happy news until she spoke to Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. Rubbing her baby bump, the TV star said, "I feel like I have the best date of the night, my little accessory here."

And there's no doubt the SAG nominee still feels the same way:

"Of course, yeah! I mean, Louboutins are great but this is the best accessory," she said with a smile, adding, "I think this year."

Additional attendees at the EW bash included Lupita Nyong'o, Julie Bowen, Damien Lewis, Daniel Brühl, Eric Stonestreet, Michelle Dockery and many more.
