The Cougar Town actress and her rumored boyfriend, Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid, were spotted strolling the streets of Beverly Hills together last night with a friend, and it looks like Cox found herself quite the chivalrous fella.
She and her girl friend were both holding a single red rose (aw!) while making their way down Doheny Road.
But the best part of this love story? Courteney has Ed Sheeran to thank for introducing her to McDaid!
Sheeran, who is buddies with the Friends star, revealed that he set her up with McDaid.
"I wasn't allowed to talk about this, actually, but it's just gone public so... My housemate [Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid] who I've lived with for a year, I introduced him to Courteney Cox. They started dating and [are] crazy about each other," he said in a recent interview with OMG! Insider.
"I ended up spending a lot of time living in her beach house and therefore bumping into all these random people. We spent Thanksgiving eve at Jennifer [Aniston]'s before spending the day at Courteney's."
Ah, now it all makes sense!
The new couple was first spotted together at Jennifer Aniston's holiday party in Bel Air, Calif., on Sunday, Nov. 8.
Funny enough, Sheeran had been spending so much time with Cox that they began being the center of relationship rumors.
"I read in the press that I'm now Courteney's younger lover. It's not true," Sheeran told E! News at the Grammy Nominations Live! concert in L.A. on Friday, Dec. 6. "It's very funny because I know the person that is her lover and I send them all the emails of everything. It's very funny."
