Well, Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes were very cute together while it lasted.

The "Popular" artist seemingly confirmed Wednesday night that she and The Wanted singer are no longer a couple, telling Brian Fink of Florida radio's 93.3 FLZ, when asked about her boyfriend, "You're a little behind."

"We're really good friends," Grande quickly added, per a synopsis on the station's website that has since been taken down. The tweet alerting folks to the breakup news has also since been deleted.

The 20-year-old pop star, who was in Florida to perform at Jingle Ball, first appeared to hook up romantically with the British boy-bander back in August after the two recorded the duet "Almost Is Never Enough" for the Mortal Instruments: City of Bones soundtrack.

She played coy on her relationship status the following month, telling E! News, "I'm happy. I'm trying to figure everything out. I'm 20."

All seemed innocent enough, but Grande woke up one morning in October to find ex-boyfriend Jai Brooks slamming her online, accusing her of cheating on him with Sykes.

"I guess I shouldn't be so surprised..." she fired back on Twitter. "You said to me if I didn't come back to you, you'd make me look bad to the entire world...I'm no longer afraid of you or your lies anymore."

Grande and Sykes were spotted a number of times looking super-cozy during the fall, but they haven't been photographed together in public since after the American Music Awards last month.

A rep for Grande has not responded to a request for comment.
