Is Scarlett Johansson ready to start a family?
The actress spoke with the Daily Mail about her domestic life with fiancé Romain Dauriac in Paris and if motherhood fits into the equation down the line.
"I would like to have my own family, that would be nice. They say it's never the right time and I am sure that's true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else," she said.
"At some point it is something I look forward to. I am fortunate in that I have had a long career—20 years—that has been very diverse. So, you know, picking a time to plan a family feels like something that I could do and not feel as though I was missing out."
She also shared that even though there's a tiny language barrier between her and her man, the two don't need any help communicating.
"In a word, non! I studied Spanish for six years and it seems to be working against my French. Romain speaks good English," she explained, "but, you know, we have no need for words!"
Johansson also gushed about living in the City of Light and shared that she would be more adventurous with her daily fashion choices if she wasn't famous.
"There are certain things I see that I think, ‘God, I would love to wear that if I wasn't recognizable.' I think if I was just an anonymous person I would probably have a much more exciting day-to-day wardrobe," she said.
"So I just have to appreciate the clothes I love but can't wear by encouraging other people, like my girlfriends, to buy and wear them."
