In case you didn't get the hint the first time, Jamie Foxx has reiterated that he and Katie Holmes are just friends.

After referring to rumors that he and the actress took their kinship to another level as "hilarious" in mid-October, the Django Unchained actor continued to state that these two celebs are not in any way engaged in a romantic relationship.

"I had Colin Powell on stage dancing [too], so they could have said me and Colin Powell were dating," the Oscar winner joked to ABC News this week about the "absurd" rumors which surfaced last month.

The Annie star is referring to a Saturday night in late August, when he and Holmes both attended the 4th annual Apollo in the Hamptons benefit in East Hampton, New York.

According to reports, Holmes pulled Foxx and Ellen DeGeneres in to join her in bustin' a move to hits like Lenny Kravitz's "American Woman," and also grooved to the sound of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams' "Get Lucky."

"You know how social media is now, they try to make a mountain out of a molehill," he added. "That's our world we live in, you try not to Kanye [West] it. I talk to [Kanye], you can't knock all of them out. You just keep moving."

Meanwhile, Holmes has been keeping busy on her upcoming film The Giver. The 34-year-old actress looked like a carbon copy of her castmates while shooting a scene in Cape Town, South Africa, today, wearing a matching cream ensemble, which consisted of a conservative dress with a long coat and T-bar wedge heels.

The sci-fi adaptation of Lois Lowry's novel is based around a young boy Jonas (played by Brenton Thwaites), who learns of the real world outside of his utopian community. Katie plays his mother, while True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard portrays his father.

The Giver hits theaters August 2014.
