There's fangirl status, and then there's pure unwavering dedication.

The latter accurately describes Rebecca Harrington, a diehard Beyoncé fan, and writer for .

The journalist decided to embark on a 10-day journey to drop a few pounds by following a mix of some of Queen Bey's past diets.

"One think I have always enjoyed about Beyoncé is that she's very open about how hard it is to eat like she does," Harrington wrote.

"I will endure the Master Cleanse that Beyoncé endured when she lost weight for Dreamgirls," she added. "I will attempt the herculean diet Beyoncé used to lose weight after birthing Blue Ivy."

She documents in great detail her experiences with both diets and even shares the pitfalls of one cheat day—because, after all, even the powerhouse singer has one every week where she indulges in "pizza and wine."

After breezing through the first few days of her all-liquid diet, the writer admitted that the low-carb high protein phase wasn't as bad as she anticipated.

"I have to say, the actual food on this diet was not terrible.  It was sparse, yes, but flavorful," she revealed.

And between the oat cakes, cayenne lemon water, yellow sashimi and hours upon hours in the gym, Harrington's results were staggering, to say the least.

It turns out that she managed to drop 10 pounds after just 10 days of following in her idol's footsteps. It should be noted that she's also tried out Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna's diets for the same amount of time, with not nearly as much success.

So what was the toughest part for Harrington throughout the program?

"The real hardship of this particular regimen was the exercise. Beyoncé worked out for two hours a day to get rid of the baby weight and it is hard for a working woman with a busy schedule," she confessed.

"It was Beyoncé's music that got me through it," she said of her two-hour daily workouts.
