Got plans for Valentine's Day in 2015? On Wednesday, Nov. 13, Universal Pictures and Focus Features announced that Fifty Shades of Grey will arrive in theaters on Feb. 13, 2015.

Starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, respectively, the big screen adaptation of the best-selling book trilogy was originally slated for release on Aug. 1, 2014.

Luke Grimes will play Christian's brother, Elliot; Victor Rasuk has been cast Anastasia's close friend, José; and Jennifer Ehle will portray Anastasia's mother, Carla. Fifty Shades of Grey is being directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti.

Production on the film was delayed after Charlie Hunnam dropped out just weeks before filming began. Dornan, who beat out rumored contenders like Billy Magnussen and Scott Eastwood, eventually replaced the Sons of Anarchy star.

Since its release, author E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey has been translated in 52 languages worldwide and sold more than 90 million copies in e-book and print. Universal Pictures and Focus Features acquired the film rights in March 2012.

(E! and Universal Pictures are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
