TwitterHere's a first look at Cameron Diaz as Miss Hannigan in the Annie movie remake!
The 41-year-old actress tweeted a photo of herself in character as the cruel orphanage supervisor from set earlier today.
"I want you to meet someone," Diaz wrote. "Her name is Ms.Hannigan. She ain't nice and she ain't pretty." In the photo, Diaz shows off a two-toned hair color look, dark, bold eyebrows, heavy eye shadow and red lips. She also sports large hoop earrings and several chain necklaces.
Diaz's Miss Hannigan costume is completed with a white top and purple sweater.
The Annie remake also costars Quvenzhané Wallis as the titular character, Jamie Foxx as the Daddy Warbucks-esque Benjamin Stacks, Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale. Will Smith and Jay Z are producers on the project, which is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day 2014.
Diaz joined Twitter just a few days ago. She tweeted on Nov. 8, "I JUST got a super cool new app called Twitter. Twelloooo!!!" She followed it up with, "Thank you for the warm welcome!! It's so fun and I'm sorry I was so late to the party, now I know why everyone's here!!"
