Or, rather, if you make up a report about David Hasselhoff posing naked while surrounded by cheese (!), the Biebs will empathize, advise and strike up a Twitter bromance with the beloved Knight Rider hunk.
It all started Tuesday, Nov. 7, when 61-year-old Hasselhoff debunked a seemingly satirical story claiming there were photos of him "stripping naked and surrounding himself with cheese" while "preserving his modesty" with some strategically placed blocks of cheddar and rounds of brie. The Hoff linked to the comical report on Twitter, writing, "cheesey reporting as I NEVER posed naked surrounding myself with cheese THIS REPORTER IS A CHEESEY LIAR."
When 19-year-old Bieber saw the Hoff's distress over the dairy product nonsense, he tweeted him, "strange because I have [posed naked surrounded by cheese]. I also had a baby, hired women, gone crazy, spit on people I love, oh yeah, and I've died 8 times."
He has been at the heart of many a rumor. But the Biebs has a good, non-cheesy attitude about it all. "Can't believe or dwell on the bs," he tweeted. "Just gotta know your truth. U can't bring us down. And @DavidHasselhoff everyone loved BayWatch."
Scooter Braun agreed, tweeting amusedly, "@justinbieber @davidhasselhoff best exchange I have read in a while. And yes everyone did love Bay Watch."
Well, obviously. But now, it seems the only logical next step is for J.B. and the Hoff to team up for a joint photo shoot where they're naked (obviously) and surrounded by mountains of cheese. That, or work together on a Baywatch revamp.
