When it comes to their firstborn son, Kate Middleton and Prince William are sparing no expense. E! News has confirmed that the royal couple recently purchased a Silver Cross stroller for Prince George.

"For many years, Silver Cross have provided royalty across the world with their prams and are delighted that the Duke and Duchess have chosen the premier British brand for Prince George," a rep for the company says. "With over 130 years experience in manufacturing prams we are certain the Prince will enjoy his Silver Cross."

Us Weekly reports that the 31-year-old parents selected the Balmoral model, which retails for $2,350. According to the product information on Silver Cross' website, it's "simply the Rolls Royce of prams."

Last week, the royal family gathered for Prince George's christening at St. James' Palace. Afterward, photographer Jason Bell snapped a series of portraits in the Morning Room at Clarence House.

Prince George was baptized by the Archbishop of Canterbury and now has seven godparents: Oliver Baker, Emilia Jardine-Paterson, Earl "Hugh" Grosvenor, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, Julia Samuel, Zara Tindall and William van Cutsem.
