On Monday, Oct, 21, the guys released a 16-second snippet of their new song "Story of My Life," a track from their upcoming third studio album, Midnight Memories. We won't get to hear the full track until this Friday. But fortunately, this week hasn't been all work and no play for the guys—Harry Styles and Liam Payne even hit the beach!
Harry, his four nipples and innumerable tattoos, partook in a rousing game of beach volleyball on Australia's Gold Coast. Liam, on the other hand, grabbed a surfboard and looked intent on hitting the waves.
Harry, Liam and bandmates Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, are spending the month Down Under for the Australian leg of their Take Me Home tour. When they're not performing at sold-out shows onstage, the boys are getting in plenty of fun in the sun.
Louis had a bit of a complaint, though on Oct. 7 when, because #papsaretwats, the 1D guys couldn't leave their hotel to enjoy the "beautiful day" outside. His tweet seemed to strike a nerve with Harry's BFF Nick Grimshaw, who took a jab at the "complainy pop star" on Radio 1 Breakfast Show. This sparked a brief Twitter feud between the boys, but it seems to have resolved itself over time.
Boys will be boys, and tweets are for venting. Carry on, fellas!
