Talk about flying high!

Despite receiving flak for the ultra-voluminous dress she stepped out in during New York Fashion Week, Victoria Beckham isn't letting the haters get her down.

Of course, that could be due to the fact that the fashion designer likened the airy design to a cloud.

Yep, you read that right.

"I felt like I was wearing an enormous cloud—but it was very comfortable and actually it feels really light, and also really flattering," she told MailOnline about the floaty dress from her Victoria, Victoria Beckham spring-summer collection.

We know we wouldn't mind the easy-on-the-waistline dress for those days we've overindulged, and even though Posh doesn't have any pudginess to hide, she's still a fan of the frock.

"I love this dress." she gushed. "I wore this yesterday and it's really comfortable, really summery, I love how it has a romantic feel."

But don't let the seemingly simple drop-waist silhouette fool you. Beckham admits a lot of thought and fancy handiwork went into the cloud dress design, like the inclusion of a clandestine crinoline to lend the skirt its volume.

"You know, I like to challenge myself each season and when I first thought of this dress, I thought how can we make this flattering? How can we make this feel sexy, with such volume?" she revealed. "And I think we've achieved it really well—I think it's a very cool dress."

And whether or not you're a fan of the 39-year-old's design, given the positive reviews of her spring-summer show, which was attended by the likes of Anna Wintour and Rachel Zoe, we'd say she's still taking the fashion world by storm—one cloud (dress) at a time.
