While the world got its first glimpse of Prince George a day after he was born, we haven't seen much of the tiny tyke since. Until now, that is.
Nearly a month after his arrival, Prince William and Kate Middleton have released two new family photos with their son. (And the world couldn't wait, of course—the photos were leaked online a couple of hours ahead of their royally decreed release time.)
The photographs were taken by Kate's father, Michael Middleton, in early August at the Middleton family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire.
In the first snap, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and George are pictured in the garden. The other finds the trio, again in the garden, joined by a retriever named Tilly (a Middleton family pet) and the couple's cocker spaniel, Lupo. Kate looks stylish as ever in a fuchsia dress by Séraphine.
The new pictures come on the heels of William's first TV interview since he and his wife welcomed their bundle of joy.
"I think the last few weeks for me have been just a very different emotional experience, something I never thought I would feel myself," he told CNN's Max Foster in an interview that aired Monday. "And I find, again it's only been a short period, but a lot of things affect me differently now."
William added, "He's a little bit of a rascal, put it that way. So he either reminds me of my brother [Prince Harry] or me when I was younger. I'm not sure. But he's doing very well at the moment."
George's proud papa also fondly recalled the moment he and Kate introduced their firstborn to the world, on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital in London.
"As any new parent knows, you're only too happy to show off your new child and, you know, proclaim that he is the best-looking or the best everything," he said.
Well, looking at these photos, we don't blame him for wanting to show the little fella off some more!
